What is this Program?


Snap! was a program ochestrated by the Amistad Center in coordination with Neighborhood Studios to involve young photographers in the arts scene of the Greater Hartford area. Neighborhood Studios is the Greater Hartford Arts Council's award-winning youth arts apprenticeship program. The apprentices hired were students aged 13 to 18 who worked for a period of six weeks, during which they took photos, edited, planned and curated an exhibit, Stay!, in the Wadsworth Atheneum.
