Working with cameras and equipment provided by the Amistad Center, the apprentices of the Snap! were assigned to document their perspectives on life in Hartford. They were able to walk around the city, covering all different types of neighborhoods, and capture what they believed to be spirit of the city.

The apprentices were then able to edit and enhance their four favorite images at Capital Community College's computer lab. Once edited, the images' underlying themes were found and documented in the exhibit.
